After 59 years at Canad Inns Stadium, formerly Winnipeg Stadium, the Winnipeg Football Club is excited about its move to Investors Group Field later this year. In advance of the move, the Football Club is holding an Asset Sale where everything from lockers, to seats, to the trough will be available for purchase.
The Asset Sale runs from November 29th – December 1st for season ticket holders only. The general public will have access from December 2nd until December 16th, or until inventory is gone.
In addition to the Asset Sale, the Football Club has also announced details on their framed memory collections, where fans can purchase a limited edition frame featuring items from the stadium. The frames contain authentic pieces of turf, goal posts and game-used footballs and season ticket holders also have the ability to have their seat included. Season ticket holders have exclusive access from October 26th – November 9th with the general public gaining access on November 10th. From November 12th – November 16th, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase their seats from the stadium, either just the seat back, the entire seat or dual seats with a fabricated base.
The Blue Bombers will continue to be a leader in the community by offering all sporting organizations, community clubs and schools the opportunity to request benches from the stadium at no charge. All requests must be made to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 9th, 2012. Those interested in purchasing larger items such as the Jumbotron or lighting systems can also send an email and the requests will be granted on a first come first serve basis.
