| Cvetkovic has been an active member of the Blue Bombers off season community program since making Winnipeg his home in 2005. Although he has been actively involved in many charity and community events, 2012 marks his first attempt at spearheading his own program. Cvetkovic has chose 5 local no-kill rescue programs for 2012; Winnipeg Pet Rescue (which his own 2 dogs are from), D’Arcy’s ARC, Quagga Stray Cat Rescue, Manitoba Mutts, and Manitoba Underdogs. Cvetkovic prides himself on making sure 100% of all profits go directly to these organizations. Cvetkovic not only has helped foster a dog from Underdogs but Obby Khan and Alex Brink have fostered for Manitoba Mutts and many other Bombers currently volunteer their time at Cvet’s Pets events. Cvet’s Pets helps out at any of these organizations fund raisers but will also be running their own events; 2 Tips for Tails Fundraisers at Earls Main St and Earls St Vital, as well as 2 “Poker for a Paws” Texas hold’em poker tournaments at McPhillips Station Casino. |
