Legacy Dinner

Stegall played 14 years for the Blue Bombers, and became an icon in the city of Winnipeg. Stegall is not only a fan-favorite, but arguably the finest receiver to ever play in the CFL.

Owning both the all-time touchdown record, and all-time receiving yards record, it's hard to choose someone who has done more at his position then Stegall. He is also ranked number one in nearly every team receiving category, including most receptions, most 1,000 yard receiving seasons, most receiving yards in a season, and many more.

Stegall has been one of the most popular players in team history, both with among fans and teammates. His achievements on the field include being named a division all-star eight times, a league all-star six times, and in 2002, Stegall was the CFL's Most Outstanding Player.

The Winnipeg Football Club Hall of Fame was initiated in 1984 to recognize the contributions of the many players, coaches, executives and volunteers who have contributed to the success of the organization over the years. Inductees are selected by a committee comprised of former players and executives and are honoured each year at the football club's Legacy Dinner. This year the Hall of Fame celebrates its 25th anniversary.
