The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are excited about the high level of enthusiasm surrounding the Bombers and thank all our fans for their support. As part of the community outreach of the Blue Bombers, players will make non-gratuitous appearances for non-profit organizations, and school functions based on their availability. As well, players can attend corporate functions based on availability, with a small appearance fee being charged to the company. 

The following information will explain our procedures and guidelines to assist you with your Appearance Request, specifically as it relates to the Blue Bombers' potential involvement.

• Player Appearance requests must be received in writing at least 3 weeks prior to the event date.
• Appearances cannot be made during Training Camp or during the playoffs. 
• During the season, active players are unable to make appearances less than 48 hours prior to a game.
• Appearance requests during the off-season are limited due to the availability of players residing in Winnipeg.
• Written requests must be submitted on organizations' official letterhead and include:

         o Organization’s name and address
         o Type of event/program
         o Contact person’s name and contact info
         o Event date, time, and length of event
         o Specific role of player(s) and staff member(s)
         o Approximate number of people at the event
         o Directions to event location
         o Any other pertinent information

• Approved requests will receive a confirmation telephone call from a representative of the Bombers prior to the event.
• As a result of the numerous requests received by the Bombers, the process can be lengthy. Please be patient.

PAYMENT CRITERIA

• Non-profit Organization/School Appearance/Charity Function = Free (upon approval of status).
• Corporate function = $200 per hour* (Plus travel time if rural appearance).
• Discount rate would apply for sponsors of the team.
