2012 (Wpg): Beginning the year as the team’s starting SAM linebacker, Brandon Stewart suffered an injury in week two and missed the next five games. He returned to the linebacking corps for two games before being shifted back to his most natural position of cornerback where he started the final nine games. Stewart finished the season with 24 defensive tackles, one sack, two interceptions, two pass knockdowns, one forced fumble and eight special teams tackles on the season.
2011 (Wpg): Looking to improve off his first full season of playing time, Stewart started all 18 games at corner for the Blue Bombers and finished the season with 31 defensive tackles, 11 special teams tackles, four interceptions (including one that was returned 83 yards for a touchdown), two fumble recoveries and three pass knockdowns – all of which were career high numbers. He started the East Final but suffered an ankle injury that prevented him from playing in the 99th Grey Cup
2010 (Wpg): After an impressive training camp, Stewart became a mainstay in the Blue Bomber secondary and played in 17 games making six starts at halfback and one start at corner. He had a career-high six tackles on Jul 16/10 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and finished the year with 27 tackles, one fumble recovery and one interception. His best game came during the Labour Day Classic against the Saskatchewan Roughriders when he picked off Darian Durant and returned it 24-yards to set up a field goal and also chipped in on special teams, catching a 27-yard pass from punter Mike Renaud on a fake punt.
2009 (Wpg): Stewart was on the active roster for most of the season but only saw action in four games where he registered three tackles.
2008 (Cgy): Stewart appeared in one game for the Stampeders before being released.
2007 (Cgy): Stewart spent most of the season on the practice roster but did appear in one game where he made two tackles.
Eastern Arizona Gila Monster (NJCAA): Stewart had a short career at Eastern Arizona Junior College, playing only one season before leaving to compete for a job in the CFL.
